Rooftop Event Celebrates the Legacy of Former Board Chairman
On September 5, in a stirring salute to its former Board Chairman, Trinitas Regional Medical Center dedicated its newest building - the $28 million, five-story facility that houses the Trinitas Comprehensive Cancer Center - to the memory of former Chairman Andrew H. Campbell. A Hillside resident, Campbell served as Chairman of Elizabeth General Medical Center during the period leading up to that hospital's consolidation with St. Elizabeth Hospital. The two Elizabeth hospitals merged to become Trinitas Regional Medical Center in 2000. He later served as Chairman of the new hospital shortly after the consolidation.

"Andy played a pivotal role in the creation of Trinitas Regional Medical Center, and it is only fitting that we name this new building in his honor," stated Trinitas President & CEO Gary S. Horan, FACHE.
