Trinitas Regional Medical Center hosted its fourth annual Health Expo in October at Mother
Seton Regional High School in Clark, New Jersey. Designed as an outreach effort
to share health care information with the community, "The Power of Healing"
Health Expo featured health screenings, including, body fat analysis, blood
pressure, blood sugar (glucose), cholesterol and sleep disorder screenings, and
pulmonary function testing and evaluations geared for both adults and children.
Numerous departments and programs showcased the range of services the hospital
offers. Outside agencies also participated at the event.
Ray the Prize Guy from FM Radio station NJ 101.5 provided a fun-filled two hours of music
and giveaways.
"This year's location in Clark helped us promote our services to communities
beyond Elizabeth. As a vital part of the state's fourth largest city, Trinitas
is well-known for extending its services within the city. We're dedicated to
'stretching the walls' of the hospital in many different ways to outlying
communities. The Health Expo also emphasized the Trinitas Regional Medical Center mission to
care for the mind, body and spirit of those who look to us for their health care
needs," said Sr. Marion Scranton, SC, Director of Community Initiatives.
