Employee giveaways, raffles for great prizes, jelly bean guessing contests, and good old fashioned ice cream contributed to the fun-filled atmosphere as Trinitas Regional Medical Center celebrated National Hospital Week in May. A highlight of National Nurses Week was an opportunity for new nurses to interface with seasoned veterans in the Trinitas staff.
"Speed Mentoring" - allowed those new to the profession five minutes with each veteran, allowing them to gain insights into his/her career. Much like
"Speed Dating," the nurses moved along to the next mentor at the sound of a timer. National Nursing Home Week was celebrated in fine style by the staff, residents and family members of the Brother Bonaventure Extended Care Center. Events included an Elegant Dining experience, a fashion show featuring students of Battin Middle School, and a rock'n roll party.
